# @discourse/mcp

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) stdio server that exposes Discourse forum capabilities as tools and resources for AI agents. Choose a site with `discourse_select_site`, or start the server tethered to one with `--site`. Writes are off by default: write tools register only with `--allow_writes`, and the opt-in domains (moderation, workflows, AI administration and others) only with `--toolsets`. This reference lists every tool, as the server registers them with `--toolsets all --allow_writes`.
